I started this blog because I think that birth stories are so amazing. If you’re trying to go the natural route, it’s inspiring to read about other women and how they made it through. Everyone likes to know they’re not alone out there, and no matter how you choose to give birth, you can probably find someone like you on this site.

I usually leave the comments section alone on this blog. I respond personally on Black Belt Mama, but with Birth Stories, the author really owns those comments, so I monitor them but don’t make a habit of responding back to them.

My lap top is my best friend. I’m usually parked on the sofa with my laptop on my lap and Conan O’Brien on TV.

I have a personal blog at Black Belt Mama where I write about my pursuit of a black belt in Okinawan Kempo and Kobudo. I also write about my daughters and rant about anything that gets me worked up.
