Monkey's Momma

I blog because it makes me happy. I love to write and it is therapeutic for me. It gives me a creative outlet. The best thing about blogging is the wonderful bloggers I have created friendships with along the way.

Yes

Very few

Not really. I have not found one that I really enjoy a lot yet. But I am looking.

I usually try to blog in the morning before my family wakes up, then sometimes blog off and on throughout the day.

I work outside of the home 36 hours a week, so on the days I am off, I try to blog or write. Some weeks, it is only a few hours, but other weeks, I can fit in 10-12 hours.

No

I don’t even remember now!

Everything! Thunderstorms, pretty clouds, my son, my husband, books, music, dreams, articles, photography, writing.

As a matter of fact, I do! I just started a blog called Inner Learning, where I hope to post motivational and inspiring photos, poems, stories and articles. At the same time, I also started The Frugal Frog, a blog that I had thought about doing for a long time. It is about personal and family finance and saving money.

My blogging friends have become “real” to me. I feel supported in a variety of ways. We all share at least one common interest: Writing/Blogging. But most of us are raising small children, worrying about life in general, decorating our homes and just trying to do the right thing. I feel more confident in my writing skills, I have friends to “bounce” ideas off of, and I learn from other bloggers that there are all kinds of different ways to solve challenges in life.
