I want to be an encourager and help others with the lessons God has taught me. He gives me so much to say and blogging seems to be a great way of sharing what I have to say with others.

June 08, I’m pretty new at this.

Scripture study, music, hymns, humor, uplifting stories.

The short list
BooMama
The Fruits of the Spirit
Laced with Grace
Rookie’s Ramblings
CHATS WITH AN “OLD LADY”
Lily of the Valley
A Year of CrockPotting
but I’m always finding more and more interesting bloggers out there.

I am a newbie, but I would say look around and look at what other bloggers are doing. Find a niche. Blog as often as you can.
Some bloggers get really personal or they share stuff about their kids, that in 10 years those kids are not going to like much. I try write in a way that if anyone in my family or extended family reads it they would not be offended.

I’ve been doing more of that and there are a couple of bloggers that chat with me through the comments. I think it builds a sense of community and it helps to know someone out there gets what you are writing about.

My Sunday School class and friends from all over the country check out the blog on occassion. I have a couple of friends that read it daily.

Early morning.

I spend probably 2 – 3 hours on it now, but I’m hoping to get it down to an hour.

I’ve known about blogging for a few years now. I have been communicating with family using the web – photo albums and webpages for years. Blogging has been something I’ve always wanted to do.

I would have to say God first, study in the word, and my family.

I have an online photo website to share pics with family and friends. We moved pretty far away and it’s a great way to stay in touch.

It’s giving me an outlet to put my thoughts into words and helped me improve my writing skills. Being a stay at home mom, I need to keep up these skills.
