I blog to have a living, breathing account of our daily lives. I want to chronicle the ups and downs that my girls and my family experience.

Life goes by so quickly, especially in New York City. I want to give the gft of memories to my children and what better way to do that than to wrap it all up in a pretty package called a blog.

My foray into blogging took place a few months ago. I had been compiling short stories from the time my two girls were born about great things that had happened in their lives. My plan was to put all of these stories into a book and give it to them when they were older, possibly when they graduated college, or on their wedding day.

I saw something about blogging and it seemed a natural progression for me based on what I was already doing.

I blog about anything that I want my girls to know that they did, or things that have happened in our lives. I am a very positive person so bascially there is not too much negativity involved except perhaps for my New York Nusiance posts.

I would love to have comments and to have the chance to see what people think, and to respond to them. I just have not reached that point yet, but stay tuned because I will….

A select few that I have told about my blog read it everyday and give great feedback. Most say, I have a knack for this sort of thing. When I am ready, I will roll it out to more friends and of course, my family. I would like to build my content first.

I try to post four times a week. It definitely takes most of my free time. Each post that I write requires some thought, so the process takes time. I am also still working through what format my blog will take, so I do spend a lot of time on it.

I love reading blogs and finding new ones that I love every day is not hard at all. I love reading about what other people are doing, thinking and feeling

I had been reading gossip and real estate blogs for quite some time without knowing that they were blogs!! My introduction to blogging was watching a Good Morning America interview with Mommy Bloggers.

The first blog I ever read was the celebrity tabloid type blog, Bricks and Stones.

My life inspires me, and in the forefront of that are my daughters and my husband. We are an extremely tight knit family, and are dedicated to spending every minute that we are not working, together. Family time is something that I do not negotiate with.

My time on the weekends belongs to my girls and nothing can hamper that. I am inspired by their love. They look at me in a way that I hope to god never dissipates. They think I am beautiful, funky and cool. They inspire me everyday to be the type of Mom that I know they need.
