Interview with Mary Anna from “Random: the musings of a mommy who works”
“Random: the musings of a mommy who works”

Blogging is a great way for me to vent, put my thought on virtual paper, share what’s important and the daily goings-on with my friends around the world.

I set up my blog in October 2007 but didn’t become a regular until more recently.

The random happenings in my life. I have two young boys, so there’s always inspiration there! And, I also work outside the home so I pull a lot from there too.

Don’t be afraid of what other people will think! This is something you do for you. And, don’t get down because no one comments on your posts. Who cares?!

Sometimes.

Everyday.

Work, home, on the road. I just set up the feature so I can email a post to my blog – and it appears instantly. How cool is that!

Way too much! It looks like I’m working, though.

No.

I started reading a few here and there, then some of my friends started it, and then my husband encouraged me to start one of my own.

I can’t remember!

my children, my husband, the latest issue of Bon Appetit

Other than my work site, no (but do visit: sa.mcmillin.com)

I feel like I have an outlet again. At my previous job, I worked with some good friends. Everyday, work was like hanging out with your girlfriends. I made a career move and lost that. Even though I’m not sitting down and gabbing with my girls everyday, I feel like I have some sort of web friend out there with whom I share things – from the mundane to the insane.
