Blogging allows me a canvas on which to paint my words. For a long season, I’ve been writing devotionally and consider my blog as an avenue for getting God’s Word via my pen into the public arena.


I intially started blogging seven months ago because I wanted to be able to comment on certain blogs that wouldn’t allow “anonymous” contributors. Once I realized how easy it was to create and to service a blog, I was hooked.


My blog focus is always on God’s Word and how it weaves into my everyday, ordinary life. Indeed, I want to bring God’s peace into the journeys of those who stop by for a visit.

Yes. I write and blog within the context of community. One of the greatest joys of participating in the blogging community is the interaction and feedback of others.


I try to blog at least three times a week. I write from home when the noise level is down and my thoughts are allowed the freedom to think.


Reading…one hour per day.

Writing a blog entry usually requires a 3-4 hour time slot.

God’s grace.


Blogging has allowed me the freedom to express my thoughts in a public forum that is affordabe, easy to understand, and accessibe to a wide variety of people. It has challenged me to embody a “forward focus” as it pertains to my writing.
