I look at a lot of technology for my work and write about it for a lot of publications. But so many of those publications are targeted squarely at men and that bothers me.
I write Geekgirlfriends.com so I can cover the stuff that I know women will like in a way that women might want to read.

Tough question. I’ve covered blogs since the dawn of the idea. I’ve been writing Geekgirlfreinds.com for about 2 years.

Technology, Web sites, stuff I just discovered, in response to technical questions my readers ask, an to review new products.

Problogger.com, Copyblogger.com, Mominitup.com, Merakohblog.com, Carandcaboodle.com, not25.com, dantynan.com.

Write what you live.

Yes!

Yes! I make them read because part of the reason I started the blog was that they all kept calling me witht ehsame technical questions.

Facebook.com, Twitter.com, Plurk, Plaxo, LinkedIn, and some private forums I set up.

In my home office. Nearly every day.

20?

no

I covered Blogger when it launched.

I don’t remember.

I love technology and I know women will love it too if they don’t have to deal with male bluster, stupid acronyms, crap that doesn’t work, and stuff that’s too hard to use.

Wilmaville.com. Tyananwood.com.

It has allowed me to go past the editors and write the way I want to write.
