I blog to give other moms hope (and myself some sanity!), with the understanding that we’re all in this together, and even though the times are crazy, God is in control.

I started blogging last year with a private (invitation only) family blog, but had requests to make it public after I began using it as a creative outlet instead of just an update board. I’m thrilled to have a public blog, but at my husband’s request urging, our names have been changed. His name now starts with an H (Husband), mine starts with a W (wife), the children’s start with O (oldest), M (middle) and Y (youngest).

I blog about our changing family dynamic. We’ve been entrenched in being a family with babies, but we’re moving into toddlers and elementary schoolers. It’s a little scary, a lot exciting, and ever reminding to be dependent on the Lord.

Have Fun! Be honest, with your readers and yourself. Remember we’re all in this together (wow, a little to much High School Musical soundtrack for this mom today!) and support each other. Blogging should be a resource to mothers, not a source of competition.

I love comments. Maybe too much. I have been known to haunt my own blog waiting for comments. Can you say Instant Gratification? Seriously, comments make blogging worthwhile, because it gives you the connection we’re all seeking.

I blog from home when if my children are sleeping, or from work as time allows. We own our own business so it’s a great perk.

I check blogs every night as part of my “me/ down time.” It’s something I do just for me. Kind of like my high heel collection… I don’t have to share it with anyone; lol.

I first heard about blogging when Dawn Meehan had her infamous ebay posting for Pokemon cards. Tell me the Lord doesn’t work in mysterious ways!

Because I Said So

Jesus! My Children. Seeing faith turned into action.

Blogging has made me self reflect more. I don’t blog just to fill space. There’s been times days have passed without a post, because I want what I write to be important, and worth the readers time as much as worth the time it takes for me to write. I’ve laughed, cried and shared with moms across our entire country that I never would have had the chance to know without this medium. I’m thankful for each Mother who shares and cares in the blogosphere.
