It’s a fun way to connect with people I otherwise wouldn’t get to know as well, even those that I know in real life!
I also love that I can get information to our families who are out of town in a manner that is easy for all of them to read/look at.

I started blogging after reading a couple of blogs that I liked, a couple of which were written by real-life friends. Our family is far away, and it was a way to keep them updated daily on the goings-on in our house!

I blog about a lot of things. Mainly my kids, and parenting struggles and successes, and all of what goes along with being a stay-at-home mom to 3 active boys! But recently, since my mom passed away, my blog has become a really comfortable place for me to reflect on how I’m feeling.

Don’t be afraid to talk about what’s going on in your everyday life. It’s interesting to me to read what other moms spend their days doing! And comforting to know that I’m not alone when I feel like I’m losing my mind.

Oh, definitely! I love comments.

Yes! All of my family reads it (I can’t get comments out of my brothers, though!), and several friends who don’t blog read regularly. A couple of friends who weren’t bloggers started after becoming regular readers. Yay! More converts!

This is boring: at home, in our office, on a desktop computer.

Mamalogues. The writer, Dana Loesch, was also a columnist in our local paper, so I went to her blog, too, and enjoyed it.

Reading stories of other families making it through difficult situations…many that are far more difficult than what we’ve been through.

I realized that I really love to write, and I have a lot to say! I am always writing something in my head; thankfully, not all of that makes it onto the blog.
