Hip Mama 4 Ever

I blog because it helps me to process my thoughts and feelings about my day, or a certain subject, in a very intentional way. I have always loved to write, mostly just for myself, and now it gives me an outlet too.

I started blogging in January, 2008.

I blog about my daily life. My Dreams. My kids and the joys & trials parenting. I blog about homeschooling. Home organization (or lack there of). My Faith & My marriage…causes I believe in…pretty much anything and everything I am going through.

If you want people to read your blog, then read other peoples blogs and don’t be a lurker….post a comment! Let them know you are reading theirs, and you might find you have a new subscriber, or regular.

yes…i love to get comments, I love that other people might get encouragement or a laugh or might even give me advice on something I am going through.

Just a couple of offline friends read my blog…it’s mostly people I don’t know, or people I haven’t been in touch with in a long time, and now I am because of the blog.

Faith, Hope, Love….

yes, but they aren’t public

It has given me an outlet, in a season of life that would be very isolating otherwise. Having an audience, even if unknown, has given me a reason to write more consistently, because people are expecting something from me. I’ve gotten to know myself better, and process my feelings and challenges I deal with, more rationally and intentionally.
