“Frantically Simple”
I started blogging as a way to help me focus in on the little, ordinary, even mundane things that make my family special. In writing about these things, I find that I notice them more.
However, I find that I now have to be careful not to miss those special experiences by composing blog-posts about them in my head as they are happening, instead of jut being there, in the moment.
I blog about my family, the dog, the Terminex Man, what crazy thing my mom just did, adoption, religion, travel…. you know all of the stories that make up a life.
Telling a story well is as much about what you don’t say as about what you do. Don’t try to cram in every little detail. Just highlight the parts you want to shine.
Yes. The more the better. I read every one and I answer as many as I can.
My friend sent me a link to her family blog when she had her first baby. I was intrigued.
I’ve been blogging every since.
