I have truly discovered the sense of community in the blog-land. I love to read blogs of other moms. I realize there are so many women who are living a a life similar to mine. I enjoy sharing my family’s story with others. It is also a great way to share our daily story with family who we do not live near.

I have been blogging for about four months. My twin sister got me hooked. She started blogging and, after reading her blog, I had to join in the fun.

I normally blog about our daily life, funny situations that happen, my walk with the Lord, as well as joining in on some of the fun blog carnivals.

Boo Mama, Big Mama, Rocks in My Dryer, Lana Right Now (my twin’s blog), Call Her Blessed, Mrs. Fussypant’s Guide to Life, By His Grace Ministry, The Secret is in the Sauce

I don’t really have advice for blogging newbies, since I consider myself a newbie. I would just say, keep it up. Read and comment on lots of great blogs and enjoy the community.

I have found that many family members are now reading my blog. I think that is great. It keeps them connected to us, no matter how far away we live.

I belong to Blissfully Domestic Living forum, as well as Christian Mom’s Blog Ring. There are others, but I am most active with the two that are listed.

I blog when my daughter is sleeping. You know, during the times that I should be cleaning the house and doing the laundry.

I use Technorati- so you ladies get out there at make me a “favorite”. Ha, ha.

As I stated before, my twin sister got me started blogging. She inspired me. I wanted to know more about this blog thing. So, I started reading more blogs and got hooked!

My daughter inspires me. She is incredible. My husband and I were married for thirteen years before we were blessed with our Gracie. God has been so good to us. She is a blessing to daily cherish. That is the reason my blog is called “Blessed with Grace”.

I think that blogging has opened me up to a new world. I realize that there are so many women dealing with life just as I am. As a SAHM, you can start to feel isolated at home. I was so busy taking care of Grace, no longer working full time, I seemed to lose myself and my identity. I am finding myself, again, through this process. I have also felt an urge to strengthen my relationship with Christ, through this process. There are so many Christian blogging moms. They inspire me, daily, with the Christian truths that they share. It has created a new yearning to grow closer to the Lord.
