A Rocking Horse To Love is one of our two online stores.

It is a real mom-owned-shop - owned and run by three moms - myself (Susan), Janice and our mom, Joan.

By working together, we are able to run two successful online stores and sometimes even wash a load of laundry.

"A Rocking Horse To Love" offers over 200 types of rocking horses and rocking animals as well as a growing line of children's furniture.

From beautiful, handmade wooden horses to heirloom quality rocking vehicles to gorgeous plush rocking animals and plush rocking horses, you will have a wonderful time choosing your little one's dream rocker!

You will find rockers for babies and toddlers, 2-4 year olds, 4-6 year olds, and even some larger horses that older children love.

For a baby shower gift or a first birthday, the ideal toy is a soft plush animal rocker such as Betty Butterfly, Luc Leafwalker, or maybe our friendly white Bear Cub. These adorable toddler rocking toys are great for babies aged 9 months and up. Your child will enjoy riding the rocker until he/she is about 3 years old.

Within the next three months, we will be adding more than 24 brand new, fabulous toddler rockers to the store.

For a second birthday or a Christmas present for a 2 year old, a medium size rocking toy with a floor to seat measurement of 17 - 19 inches is perfect.

This picture gives you an idea of the different sizes you can choose and how they compare to each other. The larger horse is 21 inches and the smaller horse is 17 inches.

Classic favorites with parents and kids are the beautiful wooden horses that are handmade in the USA. These are true heirlooms-to-be that your child will treasure now and remember for years to come. Choose from natural wood finishes or handpainted theme horses. And you can add your child's name to these horses to make them even more special.

For a third or fourth birthday, a rocking horse with a floor to saddle measurement of about 21 inches is best.

Our most popular rocking horse for children aged 3 to 6 is our Plush Thoroughbred. Janice's son, Jackson, loves riding his Thoroughbred, who he has named 'Racey'. Jackson, who is 4 years old but the size of most 6 year olds, has a great ride on 'Racey'.
