A Note From Genny

Hi everyone! My name is Genny and I live in California with my husband and two kids.

I started my career life thinking that the business world was where I was meant to be. But after our first child was born and I started reading to her, I realized in those magical moments of books and stories that I wanted to be a writer. And since quitting the corporate world to be home with my kids, I’ve enjoyed being able to do what I love, balancing my writing with parenting.

I’ve had work published in magazines and newsletters, and some of my articles have appeared on various websites. I also write at my blog, MyCup2Yours. I’m active in my community and church, and I’ve served as a mentor to teen moms in an organization called Mentor Moms for several years.

I’m thankful and excited to be a part of Faith Lifts. I get inspired and encouraged by other people’s experiences and insights, and I hope to be able to offer some of that encouragement back. I especially get inspired when I think about how much God loves each one of us. No matter who we are. No matter where we’ve been. No matter what we’ve done. Or haven’t done. He just loves us. And that’s a love that can touch our lives in ways we never dreamed.
