A Note from Angela
Greetings. My name is Angela Nazworth and I count it a blessing to be a contributor to Faith Lifts. I am the wife of a college professor and the mother of a delightfully precocious four-year-old drama princess, and a one-year-old son with aspirations of mountain climbing. My family also includes a nine-year-old Dachshund who hopelessly adores the little boy who leaves behind a trail of Cheerios and other bite-sized munchies as he explores his new world.
Before exchanging my business suits for yoga pants and burp cloths, I worked in the public relations industry managing programs, editing publications, and writing copy and articles for magazines, newsletters, Web sites, brochures, educational resources, and other publications.
I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was a young child in rural Pennsylvania, but it wasn’t until this past year when I began my journey toward true freedom that is offered to all followers of Jesus. Struggles with Postpartum Depression, perfectionism, loss, and feelings of inadequacy; along with unrealistic expectations shackled my spirit. Now those shackles lie broken and I’m ready to journey toward becoming the woman Christ desires me to be.
Thank you for joining me on this adventure. My writing style is intentionally honest, as it is my heart’s wish to share, without pretense, what I learned and am still learning along some rugged paths. My blog, Becoming Me, offers more of my stories.
