Prayer for Slow Motion..
My daughter SlowMotion is in need of prayer at this moment. Her condition
may or may not be life threatening. At this point we are just waiting, and
also we know that her health is fine right now (the future is what we don’t
know about.)
SlowMotion may have a genetic dissorder called Marfan Syndrome

This is a connective tissue dissorder that ultimatly affects the persons
retna’s and aorta. The main concern being the stretching and bursting of
the aorta.
Currently, a heart echo has shown that her heart is fine, and we also know
that her retna’s are fine. A physical with the genetic doctor at the
University of Illinois at Chicago showed that she has ALL of the physical
charachteristics of the syndrome (overly long arms, fingers, legs, toes,
wing span, above average height, near-sightedness, and above average
flexability.).
Since her heart and retna’s have not been affected, but she does show all
other signs, it was reccommended to us that she get genetic testing done.
This test costs $2000, so we are waiting to see if our health insurance
will cover it. Another area of concern is that our health insurance runs
out in November since we are switching jobs and moving.
Please pray for this to be covered by health insurance, and also for
SlowMotions long-term health.
