I'm trying to find Jesus in my life and I really do wish it were as easy as picking up a rock!

Wow! I had never heard of "placer" mining. What a beautiful analogy. It is so sad to think that people are walking around every day, unable to see the riches just laying right there...waiting on them. This is a great reminder to share with others about Jesus and to pray that God will reveal to those with their eyes on earthly riches that they have a spiritual poverty. A poverty that Jesus can bring great riches to.
Thanks, Carol! Powerful stuff!

I love the fact that we take nothing with us when we go. It really helps me keep things in perspective. I have a friend that always wanted, wanted, wanted, and she missed all the blessing that she already had. Now she is in great debt with a home she cannot afford. This is a wonderful post. I, too, am greedy on occasion as I'm sure most people are. I am definetly going to make this a prayer..that the Lord will remind me of all the things I already possess. Him living in my heart would be number 1.
