I loved the music. My 2 year old son immediately came over and started swaying back and forth. It is amazing to think that we are free, free from the bondage of sin. Death has no stronghold on us. We are free!!!! If that doesn't bring a smile to your face I don't know what will. Have a blessed day!!!

We are set free! Praise God!

Galatians 5:1
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery (NIV)

So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don't get tied up again in slavery to the law. (NLT)

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (KJV)

In [this] freedom Christ has made us free [and completely liberated us]; stand fast then, and do not be hampered and held ensnared and submit again to a yoke of slavery [which you have once put off]. (Amplified)

    * What would freedom in Christ look like to you?

Hmmm...I'll need to ponder on a specific answer to this. My off-the-cuff answer it that what I do in mind and body will bring me closer to the Lord and strengthen my walk. I know that works will not get me into Heaven. My motives need to be driven by what the Holy Spirit directs me to do and not what others believe that I should do.

    * What false teachings do you think you currently believe?

The average Christian probably doesn't believe they are are holding on to false teachings. The are oblivious to their situation. I pray that the Lord brings all truths to me and reveals all areas that need work.

    * What ways to do you feel like you are in bondage? Can you find verse that proves Christ has set you free from this?

My first thought is that I need to worry less about what others are thinking about what I do. If I am doing the Lord's will and have been prompted by the Holy Spirit, then I do not have to explain anything. I am fine if I'm led to work in a different area.

2 Corinthians 1:20-22 (Amplified)

(Amplified) 20 For as many as are the promises of God, they all find their Yes [answer] in Him [Christ]. For this reason we also utter the Amen (so be it) to God through Him [in His Person and by His agency] to the glory of God. 21 But it is God Who confirms and makes us steadfast and establishes us [in joint fellowship] with you in Christ, and has consecrated and anointed us [enduing us with the gifts of the Holy Spirit]; 22 [He has also appropriated and acknowledged us as His by] putting His seal upon us and giving us His [Holy] Spirit in our hearts as the security deposit and guarantee [of the fulfillment of His promise].

(NIV) 20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. 21Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
