The Lord has really been putting on my heart to take steps this year for more peace within my home. To take small steps each day to work toward bringing peace for my family. There is so much out in the world that works against being peaceful that I just want them to have God’s peace in their home. Of course, this is something that only God provides, but I can do my part in allowing that peace to flow.

Excellent word. I too am moving toward a “back to the basics” approach. Trying to cull out the superflous junk.

I agree with Angie, “Back to Basics”; I think we get too swept up in the fastness of society that we forget to make time for our families, ourselves and more than anything, for our God.

I’ve been more serious about really making time to read the Bible, learning scripture and making that initiative to put God first.

Oh,how I agree. You spoke my heart…I only want to speak blessings…Our pastor preached a great sermon on Sunday on the words we speak and how we will be held accountable for them. Ouch….I want to talk less and listen more. Thank you for your insight….
