Remind God You Love Him

Today was an awesome day!
I spent the day with my seven year old daughter, Olivia.
We went to Fargo to the 2007 Indian Summer Quilt Show…an entire day together just her and I.
With four young children I rarely have one-on-one time with any of them. It was so incredible to have that time with Olivia today.
Several times throughout the day, she looked up at me and said, “Mommy, I’m having the best day!” If I ever need a reminder of why I’m a mom, a moment like that will do it.
And, it makes me wonder about how God feels when I tell Him I love Him; how He feels when I take time to spend one-on-one time with Him. He must feel like I felt today.
Take a moment today to remind God (and maybe yourself) why you love Him. He’ll appreciate it. I know He will.

That was sweet Tamera. He loves when we tell him we love him. :O)
So sweet! Our kids bring such perspective. Tamera, you didn’t tell me you had an Olivia too!
Tamera what a lovely little post that packed a whole lot into it. I love how God uses our children to teach aspects of our relationship with Him!
