It seems all we have to offer is brokenness and strife, but He can make something beautiful of any life, esp when we bring the hidden things into the light and truth of His word! Tamara, this was so well put. Clear, concise, truthful, honest, humble. I’ve walked the walk you’ve described. You’re right on. Handing it to God is never easy, but always worth the effort. Praise the Lord we’ve experienced the freedom from carrying (most of) the ashes.

Thank you for admitting that you just hand God pinches from time to time with certain things. I struggle with this one myself and knowing that other Christians aren’t miraculously able, at all times with all things, to just hand it all over… gives me hope and encourages me in my walk.
