I think I have been guilty of using all of those thing at one time or another. Why does it seem easier to do that than run to the Father? How easy it is to grab food or another vice instead of relying on our Rock and getting to know Him and call Him "Friend". There is no greater friend. I can hear my grandmother singing the old Hymn "What A Friend We Have In Jesus". “I encourage you today to make time to seek Him. Get to know Him and His Nature. Not just about Him.”
