It is those intangible, priceless things that endure long after we are gone that mean the most. I’m sorry that she is gone, but so glad she has left you with such a precious legacy.
MY Mom is much the same way. And we had a Pastor’s wife once who extended that grace and wisdom to me as a young wife and mother. She still has a profound influence on my life.
By the way - my husband’s grandparents on both sides came to the U.S. from Hungary.

My maternal grandmother showed me God’s grace. I want to guard my words more. It would be wonderful to be remembered as someone who didn’t have a bad thing to say about others…

What an amazing legacy your Godmother left! Her example certainly is an inspiration to me - especially the part about her never saying anything bad about anyone! What an incredible example of Christ’s Spirit working in this dear person’s life!!! I know your loss is great. Thanks for sharing her special life with us.

Wow. What a beautiful woman she is. I do not say “was,” because you and I both know that there is no “was” in Heaven. My heart goes out to you - I know you’ll miss her, even though you know you’ll see her again.
