Faith Builders - Life From Death

He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “O Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, “Dry bones, hear the world of the Lord!” Ezekiel 37:3-4

Facing a new year, many of us have a list of “resolutions” for physical well being. Lose weight, excercise, walk the dog more often; But what about our spiritual and emotional well being? What about the part of us that is the most important- our relationship with Christ?

We may be physically alive, but sometimes we feel as if we are wandering in that familiar valley. We feel spiritually, emotionally or even relationally as dead as an old pile of bones. Inside some of you may feel as useless as old skeletons. When we get stuck in our old patterns, change becomes hard, and then we feel as if it is too late for change. It is never too late for renewal, and Christ has given us the tools to pick our dry bones up so that He can breathe life into them again! What an amazing promise!

My hope for you, in this new year is that you find Renewal in Christ. That you walk away from this past year longing for a more personal and passionate relationship with your heavenly father. He desires so desperately for you to know him more intimately- he patiently waits for your heart to cry out to him.

He wants your dry bones to be alive again!
