I try not to allow myself to get too busy that I'm not enjoying the blessings I have. Not always easy but I do make a conscious effort each year. I'm not afraid to say NO and that helps immensely. I think a lot of moms get caught in the trap and base their worth on how busy they are. Great post! Laura I’m with you on this one Susanne. So far so good. My kids are just giddy with excitement and we need to be that way too. I have only one third of my shopping done, but I have been loving on my family and that is way more important. It's so important to make sure we're focusing on Christ and the wonder of God's love shown to us that first Christmas. I especially appreciate your point about what we are teaching our kids through this busy season. All too often, it's easy for me to revert to "grumpy mom" as I try to get everything done - things that, in the long run, probably aren't all that important.
