When I first realized that our first meme was going to fall on September 11th- I was a bit leary. This is such an emotional day for so many of us. Then when I began thinking about how to fit the entire topic together, I was reminded of this verse on Faith:
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” –Lamentations 3:22-23
So many blogs today are focusing on the tragedy of September 11th, and there is much tragedy to focus on. Faith builders wants to encourage you to focus on the hope that was brought with September 12th.
September 11th brought disaster, death and dispair. It was a horrific day that we all most likely will never forget. I remember that day vividly, down to the clothes I had on.
Yet, we often forget that even though that day was horrific- we were given a tomorrow!
“We cannot go back and make a new start, but we can start now to make a new ending.”

What a great idea - to ask us to focus on the hope brought by September 12th instead of the hopelessness brought by September 11th. I’m sure sharing our thoughts with each other will help all of us get through this sad anniversary.
