As a parent, I truly enjoy sharing my favorite childhood books with my own children. There is something awe-inspiring about watching my kiddos, as they experience the stories that I love, for the first time. It brings back such memories.
I remember the first night I introduced my oldest to Where The Wild Things Are. She sat cuddled in my lap, immersed in the story of Max and the Wild Things. Of course she loved the book and asks me to read it to her often.
When she saw the trailer for Where The Wild Things Are, she was ecstatic and we are looking forward to watching it together on the big screen. Hopefully we will be able to make it to a showing at the nearby IMAX.
Where the Wild Things Are has been digitally re-mastered into the unparalleled image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience® through proprietary IMAX DMR® technology.
With crystal clear images, laser-aligned digital sound and maximized field of view, IMAX provides the world’s most immersive movie experience.
Where The Wild Things Are: The IMAX Experience opens on October 16th. We would love for your family to have the opportunity to enjoy the magic and wonder of Where The Wild Things Are, and we have the PERFECT giveaway to help you to do just that.
We have a “Royal” IMAX Prize Pack to award to one lucky reader.
Package includes:
- 1 copy of Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak
- 1 adult Where the Wild Things Are t-shirt
- 1 youth Where the Wild Things Are t-shirt

Are You My Mother is my niece’s favorite book. Can’t blame her since the lead is so curiously innocent. My personal favorite is probably the Very Hungry Caterpillar because as a kid, it was always neat seeing the transformation progress of things into something better…also, there was alot of delicious looking food.

Two of my favorite books involved a great story and beautiful phototography:
Lona–A Fairy Tale, a story about a princess who gets shrunk by an evil wizard and has to make her way through the kingdom to find her prince and her freedom.
and,
Tico-Tico, a story about a squirrel who wants to make friends with a cat
I still have both books.
