“Frozen” won the Oscars for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for “Let It Go” at the 86th Academy Awards which aired on March 2, 2014.
Not only did “Frozen” take home two Oscars but the film also surpassed the $1 Billion mark at box offices worldwide. “Frozen” opened wide domestically on November 27, 2013 and was #1 for the first five weeks of release. It is now the biggest animated film, the second biggest non-local film, and Disney’s biggest release of all time.
