The only thing better than sweet, is sweet and salty. I love finding different ways to salt up my sweet treats.
And as I have mentioned many times here at 5 Minutes for Mom, I love Nutella! I am always creating new ways to satisfy my nutella cravings — such as my Easy Nutella and Cream Cheese Fruit Dip and my Coconut and Hazelnut Drizzled Ice Cream.
When it comes to sweet and salty snacks, you can find me regularly pairing up peanut butter and Nutella for a crazy delicious popcorn topping. I melt together coconut oil, peanut butter, and Nutella and drizzle it over my popcorn. I add a few dashes of sea salt and I am in sweet/salty heaven. (I often indulge in a glass of red wine and some NetFlix with this chocolatey late night snack. It is just what a multitasking mom needs at the end of a long day.)
In this recipe, I also added crushed hazelnuts to my popcorn mix and it was fantastic. Have fun coming up with your own peanut butter popcorn creations and do let me know your favorite popcorn toppings.
