The Official Hanging of the Greens + Our Super Catering Meal from Subway #catertheseason

SUBWAY has asked me to help promote SUBWAY Caters. I am being compensated for my participation in the program but all opinions expressed in the post are my own and not those of SUBWAY.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday I cooked a lot. The way it works in our home is that on the Wednesday before and Thanksgiving day, I cook and bake until I can’t move. I am not joking with you. I cook a lot — for only 5 people. The reason for this is because for the next week following those two days, I get to rest and relax and not cook a thing.

My only problem this year though was our annual “Hanging of the Greens” and our holiday gathering service at church fell during my week long rest. So — that meant that I had to make some finger foods to take for our refreshments that night. Luckily, Subway Caters stepped in and saved the day for me!

Subway Caters

I am already a huge fan of Subway, but when I found out that they were going to be doing catering service — I became ecstatic! To know that I was going to be able to enjoy my cooking sabbatical and not have to lift a finger, definitely put me more in a festive mood.

While I love cooking a whole bunch, sometimes I just need a break.

Subway Caters lets you order fresh and tasty sandwich platters (even a 3 ft. long Giant Sub!), cookies, drinks and more. No matter if your occasion is for 10 or for 300, Subway Caters cans handle any party. By getting an event catered, you have the chance to actually enjoy your event, instead of worrying about all the food!

I was impressed with the sandwich platters. The subs were about 3″ in length and had a total of 15 different classic and regular sandwiches on them. For a cost of $35 — this was a great deal.

You can order online at the Subway Caters website if you like, or you can call in to the hotline to order — 1-877-360-CATER (2283). I chose to order online just to see how easy it was. In less than 10 minutes, I had my catering order in, paid for, and scheduled.

Another great option I love about the Subway Catering service is the to-go box lunches that they offer. Last year, we took our youth group to a conference where we only had a limited amount of time to get something to eat. The kids also had a small amount of money, so we were really scrounging to find something and somewhere to eat.

Had we had this service, I could have called and had our lunches catered for as little as $6.00 per box. Inside this box, you get s 6″ sandwich, chips, and a cookie. For just $2.00 more, you can get a footlong.

All Subway needs is about 24 hours notice and they can have your catering completed.
