How many dead fish have you flushed? Sorry to be so graphic during this most wonderful time of the year, but we went through quite an ordeal a couple of years ago when my son asked for fish for his birthday. We didn’t get the water right, and our tank claimed the life of several goldfish before we got it right. But then, even when we got it right, the fish only lasted for about 6 or 8 months.

Wouldn’t it be nice to know you could fix anything with a new set of batteries? And what’s more — it’s portable. No getting fish sitters when you are out of town. Just take it with you, or leave it behind!

Check out the new HEXBUG® Aquabot with Fishbowl:

hexbug fish

The first water-born HEXBUG micro robotic creature with smart fish technology. Comes with its own fishbowl that provides the perfect home for the HEXBUG Aquabot. Powered by electro-magnetic propulsion, this swimming fish dives up and down, changing directions to explore its environment.

Equipped with an automatic on and off sensor that activates when submerged in water.
Each set contains:

  • 1 HEXBUG Aquabot
  • 1 Fishbowl
  • Two button cell batteries AG13 (LR44) are included in each fish

HEXBUG Aquabot is available in two styles — the Shark and the Clownfish –and ten translucent colors.

Hi there! I am a desperate student in need of awesome parents assistant. I am conducting research about kids age one to three and the technology they are using. Your help would be much appreciated and could help me pass my sociology lecture. If you are willing to help me, please answer 15 short questions (totally anonymously of course): https://www.murvey.com/s?5297228f709fa75c1f000c56

The munchkins would have a lot of fun with this, and we wouldn’t need to worry about kitty swirling her paw in the fishbowl!

That is so great, I had no idea there were robotic fish available. My son is on his second beta fish, so this would be a good replacement when Austin fish #2 passes the rainbow bridge!
