Christmas Giveaway 2013: Groovy Globes for Teen Dreams

5M4M contributor Jennifer shares a fun gift idea or room decor item for tweens and teens.

I’ve heard about the cool nightlights/room decor from Cloud B for a long time. They make unique baby gifts.

Now there’s a whole new market for the lights — tweens and teens! The Dreamz to Go Groovy Globes in Blue or Pink provide a soft light, complete with groovy light projections on the ceiling, that will help ease fears of darkness that still occur or just provide a cool factor.

Sleepovers are a common activity at this age, but I know that my daughter and friends always forget the sleeping part. I try to encourage sleeping and winding down for the night by switching off the lights, but that’s not usually well received. A groovy nightlight like this is the perfect solution. It’s not only cool, but helps provide a transition into sleep.

It runs on 3 AAA batteries and shuts off automatically after 45 minutes, to provide the dark environment recommended for sleep by pediatricians.

For my 5-year-old daughter. She claims the lamp is too bright, but our night light isn’t bright enough. At least this might distract her long enough to fall asleep : )

these are cute, have not heard of them before, I think our gals would love it for their sleepover parties.

My grand daughter is going to be three and I know her OR her big sister would love this. And yes, a great idea for slumber parties and “cool” still. Like that it shuts off after 45 minutes to save on batteries!

I bought a cloud B lamb that lights up as a baby gift for my cousin’s baby. She loves it, and I think having something similar for older kids is a great idea. Thank you!
