Jennifer here to share with you about this amazing digital camera from Kodak. This post has been sponsored, however all opinions listed are my own.
I love taking photos. Now — I am not a professional photographer by any means. I do well if I get a “so-so” shot, but my teenage daughter on the other hand is a self taught, professional in the making. She loves capturing animals and nature with her camera. She and I both were excited when we got the chance to review the Kodak Pixpro AZ251.
This camera is perfect for her. We are not at the point that we are ready to purchase our first DSLR yet, but we are way past the tiny little point and shoot that we have always used.
This camera takes the most amazing photos — and it has the ability to act like a DSLR!
Her two favorite subjects are the cat and dog. Needless to say they get tons of camera time, with lots of poses. Her favorite feature when capturing them is the zoom. It has a 25x optical zoom lens. This allows her the ability to zoom in and catch them when they least expect it.
The Kodak Pixpro AZ251 is also very affordable. It’s priced at only $149, but takes pictures like a $500 camera, and the amazing 3″ screen gives plenty of viewing space to see the photos that you have taken.
Here are a few more awesome features about this camera:
- 25x Optical Zoom
- 24-600mm
- 1/2.3″ 16M CCD
- 3.0″ 230K LCD
- 720p H.264
- Optical Image Stabilization (OIS)
- AA Battery
If you are looking for a great camera that is superior above the normal point and shoot, then this camera is for you.

My teen daughter is also an artistic photographer and wants a camera for Christmas. We were looking at some interchangeable lens mid-range cameras but this one looks like an option for sure!
