Gifts For Both

1. Photo Calendar

The personalized calendar idea has been around for awhile. I was very impressed, however, at the professional finish of the calendars by Minted. Check them out and see if you are not impressed as well!

2. DIY Christmas Ornament

For a very affordable handmade Christmas gift, your child could color a Christmas ornament from your local craft store. Many have the center cut out so a photo can be added. Let’s be honest. All the grandparents really want to see are the faces of their adorable grandchildren anyway. Who can blame them?!  Here is a quick and easy tutorial for picture ornaments.

3. Pencil portraits

For the artistic grandparents, a hand drawn pencil portrait of the grandchildren would be cherished for years to come. This artist on Etsy is clearly very talented and has many of her drawings available to view on her shop.

4. Photo Puzzle

For the puzzle-loving grandparent in your lives, this personalized picture puzzle would be a treasure. Some great features about this gift are that it comes in a tin that also has the same picture on it and the puzzle can be varying degrees of difficulty. It would be fun to get an easier version and the grandparents can complete it with their grandchildren on Christmas morning!

I just love that eye glass holder. Another great idea is a custom calendar for next year full of pictures of your family. I have given one to my Grandpa and he still keeps it up even though it was from a few years ago!
