The easy way to clear skin with OXY® #giveaway

5M4M contributor Jennifer Donovan received product samples and was compensated to write this post, but as always, our writer’s opinions are her own.

oxy cleansing padsOXY® skin care has a whole new look and a whole new line. I have a teen daughter, so I’m familiar with acne care, for sure. I also have a tween son who is rapidly approaching adolescence. This summer I have been encouraging him to start taking care of his skin so that he’ll have good habits under his belt once those little breakouts start. I’ve noticed some whitehead-type places on his cheeks, which I guess are clogged pores, which could lead to acne, so now seems like the right time.

I just barely have him convinced that brushing his teeth — with toothpaste — is hygiene to be done twice a day, so each night I’ve had to remind him to wash his face. When I was offered the chance to review two new OXY® products, I knew that the OXY® Daily Defense Cleansing Pads were a perfect solution! When I first started encouraging my daughter to focus on skincare, the ease of a pre-moistened cleansing pad meant that she didn’t have any excuses.

And it’s working for my son, too! The first night I showed him how to use it. The directions state you can use it once or twice a day. Since Kyle is still young and not having a lot of problems, I told him that we’d start doing it every night. The second night, I forgot to remind him, so the next morning, I said, “Don’t forget to clean your face.” He corrected me, saying, “Only once a day. I did it last night.”

“You remembered without me telling you? And you did it?” I asked, amazed. And he had! If that’s not a testimonial, I can’t offer you anything better than that.

I was also sent another new product, OXY® Maximum Action Sensitive Advanced Face Wash, and I was excited to try it out myself. I still have some hormonal outbreaks, although they aren’t as bad now (in my 40’s) as when I was in my 30’s. What is irritating to me is that once the blemish fades, it takes a while for the spot to totally go away. I was hoping that the OXY face wash would speed that process along, and it did. After using it for 3 days, I noticed a definite improvement! The sensitive skin formula is probably appropriate for a woman of my age, because I haven’t had any dryness or irritation, but it’s still doing what it’s meant to do.

I won’t use this daily, but I will definitely use it cyclically to prevent and treat breakouts. It seemed to do the trick.

I am so happy that I had the opportunity to revisit this product, and am glad to pass along the opportunity to one of you as well.

My son just turned 13 and I’m starting to see acne at his hairline. I’ve been trying to figure out what to have him use besides just plain soap and water. I think I’ll pick some Oxy up and see how it works for him.

My kids are too young still, and you would think that, at the ripe old age of 44, I would be too old, but noooo, I sometimes have worse acne than I had as a teenager. :-/

I am going thru menopause which is causing my face to break out like it did in my teens.

My 15 year old daughter is probably most concerned about it but we all use skin care products to keep acne away.
