Julia Hembree, 5m4m contributor, here to share with you her insights on how Relish can make your back to school dinner time easier. While we were compensated to write this post, all opinions remain our own.
Does meal planning and grocery store shopping feel like one of your most dreaded chores? You are not alone. Meal planning can be very stressful and time consuming.
Every night, our meal time planning goes a bit like this:
“Hey, babe, what do you want to do for dinner?”
“Um, I don’t know. What do we have?”
“A couple of things. I could run to the store to get something, I guess.”
A few hours and a few too many purchases later we are eating a late dinner after a trip to the store. Truth be told, I throw in the towel and opt for take out much too often. We could save time, money, and the dreaded meal time indecisiveness if we could just concur one thing; meal planning.
It’s hard to think of new ideas for meals to serve for dinner every night. Add in criteria of wanting meals to be kid-friendly and healthy and sometimes it’s just incredibly overwhelming.
Luckily, you don’t have to be in the dark with meal planning anymore. Relish! makes meal planing simple!

The hardest thing for me – and I love to cook! – is dealing with fatigue plus tired hungry family while trying to put a meal on the table. 😛 I love the days when I have energy leftover to truly enjoy a few hours in the kitchen. 😀
Connie Kikta says
I hate coming up with new quick recipes. I would love to be more organized and have a menu planned for the week.
The Gang's Momma says
The hardest thing about meal planning is staying consistent with my routine of shopping, inventorying, and planning. I enjoy the cooking but getting myself to the point of the cooking is so hard lately. This might be a great thing to try out for my gang.

The rush on some nights. We like to have dinner together, but some times we’re only in the house together for 20 minutes. Lots of planning needs to happen.
BusyWorkingMama says
I hate the rush – wish we had more time to sit together and enjoy.

The worst part is trying to find something that everyone will eat! My repitoire of dinners is slim if I want that! We can’t have pizza every night 🙂
Nancy Collins says
This looks like it would be pretty cool. I’d like to try it! I’ve never heard of this before, but it sure seems like it would save me a whole lot of time.
