There is nothing that will set my anxiety into overdrive like someone openly judging me. Ok, maybe one thing… A weeks warning that I’m going to be judged.
Last week my landlord sent me an email, letting me know that he wants to do a full walk-through of the house and property. Now don’t get me wrong, my landlord is a fantastic guy, and it is likely that we’ll be buying the house this summer. And I know that he is just building his own spring to-do list. Making a list of repairs, and things that need to be done.

But I cannot help but stress over the fact that someone else is coming in… and looking around. Not just a glance…but a thorough look.
So over the past week I have been adding two things to my to-do list for every one I check off. Like cleaning out the closets (why I feel the need to do this I-do-not-know), and wiping baseboards. Cleaning each and every window….all 29. Dusting and re-arranging…there really is so much to do! My anxiety levels are up there right now…cleaning with a toddler at your feet just isn’t possible. Getting signs ready for a garage sale (you can get some great ones made at Signazon where they make yard signs, banners, and more.)
All of those little chores that we put off for another day. I’ve had to do all of them! Luckily I have been able to persuade my hubby to help out with the really annoying jobs. It’s funny just how different men and woman see messes. (Or maybe it’s just my man)
If nothing else, at least I have a fantastic head start on my spring cleaning list, and I’ll be able to go outside and enjoy the gardens when the warm weather finally does arrive.

As part of my really big project to revise my Home Management Binder, I’ve been tackling the smaller projects of regular cleaning lists and menu planning. This past weekend, I FINALLY updated my price book so I can better organize my food shopping in March.

I get stressed over that sort of thing too. I drive myself crazy trying to get everything perfect and I drive everyone else crazy trying to keep it that way. LOL. MY tackle is up for this week and it looks amazing! (if I do say so myself! And it only cost me $20!)

I know how you feel. When my husband and I were renting and our landlord was going to do a walk-through, we spent DAYS cleaning! I don’t think we ever cleaned so hard in our life!

W era anxious to get out and start whipping the patio and backyard into shape for entertaining this year. But I guess we need to tackle the indoors until the weather cooperates. Now just need to convince the kids to help. I’m glad someones talking about Spring – it can’t be far off now!
