Great post! Very helpful and like many other women I HATE being on camera. For some reason it makes me really nervous but I'm gradually working on my fears. I figure one day I'll be a vlogging pro but for now I keep it to a minimum.

I have been doing videos of my blog forever. I actually have a vlog carnival called Vlogemotions in case you guys never heard of it. It's been going weekly for over 3 months now.

You should join in the fun and play along. Your readers would love it. This weeks theme is kids! So show your kiddos doing anything they might like.

I think there are already a few videos of me floating around on You Tube courtesy of a friend of mine. I taught the kids how to hula dance at her little girl's b'day party and she, of course, thought it would be funny to upload it. haha

O.K. maybe I should try that Snazl thing with you. What is the worst that could happen? My kids make fun of me, as they always do, and then people laugh, which is not such a bad thing, so………… Anyhoo, I am talking about starting school TODAY. We homeschool in a very unique way! i just did my first VLOG yesterday and really thought about disguising myself or doing soething silly with my hair, but like you said, my blog tends to be a bit more serious, and I thought it would seem odd to deviate from that…

Hmm, good points all around. I have always been a 'behind the scenes' kind of girl, but am starting to (slowly) get a little more comfortable in front of the camera. Maybe.
