Of course, keeping their feet protected and well supported is also important, which is where Pediped comes in. They specialize is great quality shoes for children that look great and support their feet as they grow. We were asked to review a pair of shoes so I decided to order the Flex Jones pair ($45).
These sneakers are adorable and have some really great features. Not only are they approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association for promoting healthy foot development, they also come with the Flex Fit system which extends the life of the shoe. The Flex Fit system is basically an extra insole that goes inside the shoe to help if the fit is a little big. Once their feet grow, you remove the insoles to create more room giving almost a half size of difference! For a mom like me who can never seem to stay ahead of the game, I am totally sold on this feature. Oscar loves them too and has already asked to wear them!
The sizing runs a little big so keep that in mind if you plan to make an order. In our case, bigger is better because he will definitely grow into them!
