A couple of weeks ago, I was going through my makeup bag and realized that I had mascara in there that was over 3 years old. YIKES! I am really bad at keeping my makeup bag cleaned out. When I get new makeup, I just throw it in with the rest and it just kind of all gets mixed in together. Probably applying the blush, (easy part)
I enjoy choosing the lip color and outlining it.
Now that I am going through menopause and have heat flashes I really love wearing blush. I also like to wear eye make-up…
The mascara. I love how my eyelashes look with it on.
Eyeliner always is special for me.

I love eyeliner and mascara. If I can’t put on anything else, I will wear those.
Being menopausal, finding the right foundation coverage has been a challenge, so I find that fun to look for the right coverage for those wrinkles that hadn’t been a problem before. I was told at a very young age by a makeup professional, if you leave your home and aren’t going to wear much makeup, the one must have is lipstick. So, I have always heeded that advice and made sure I have at least one lipstick with me at all times. It definitely adds color to a very light skinned individual.
I have 4 kids and a very hectic schedule. I run out of time very quickly for myself so I just love when I get a chance to put on ANY type of makeup.
I gotta have lipstick on!

I LOVE BAMBOO! THEY HAVE THE BEST TOOLS, & AS YOU MENTIONED, ARE ECO-FRIENDLY. MY FAVORITE THING PART OF MAKEUP IS THE EYE LINER. IT MAKES MY LITTLE EYES STAND OUT & BRINGS ATTENTION TO THE COLOR OF MY IRISES.
I don’t wear foundation very often because I hate how the liquid stuff feels like mud on my face. However, when I tried the mineral powder stuff a year or so ago, I LOVED how my face had even tones and color. It’s amazing how a little bit of foundation really livens up your whole countenance!

I loved reading this posting because I also buy new makeup and throw the new in with the old. Then I watched Oprah and found out that bacteria lives on my makeup. I never knew!!
