It’s a question that every woman dreads. What is this dreaded, awful question?
“Hey Mom,What’s for dinner?”
Nothing exhausts me more than having to think about whats for dinner! Pinterest gives us endless amounts of inspiration on how to make gourmet everything in just 3 short hours-not including time at the grocery stores to find all the random spices and “accessories” for these fancy recipes.
I may not work outside the home, but it’s not like I sit around all day just pondering what beautiful meal I’m going to make that night. I have a 14 month old that may very well be part Tasmanian Devil and keeping him entertained is enough to worry about! So, what to do when it comes to dinner decisions? I can’t neglect my child, yet everyone has to eat.
Time for a new plan and that new plan is Relish. I Would Love To Win! I Love Cooking In A Slow Cooker During Fall And Winter
I love slow cooker cooking. The main problem I run into is timing. I rarely have time to put something together in a cooker in the mornings and doing it at night defeats the purpose of it being ready to eat when we get home the next evening. If I cook it at night then it needs to go in the fridge the next morning which means it’s cold when we get home thus having to warm it up. This cooker would make it possible for me to set it and leave it!
I’m really just getting into cooking and crock pot meals are the best for me. I like the extra settings on this one from the one I have. Simmer would be great.

What a beautiful crockpot? Way nicer than the old things I still use. I have found that on nights where there is dance/swimming/drop off with the other parent I am having to do easy dinners at least twice a week that I can cook and go! Crockpots make that so much easier.

With 5 adult “kids”, 2 granddaughters, hubs and myself, slow cooking has become a way of taking care of business around here. It makes my life just so much easier and yummier too! However, yeah, I’m a clutz and dropped my crock to my slow cooker….. this one (I love cuisinart) is on my “wish list”, cause, well I’ve been a very good girl this year!

I’ve found that a healthful diet is actually fun and interesting to follow. It’s easy once you experiment over a number of years. So, the Cuisinart 6.5 quart slow cooker would be an exciting way to experiment further in the best diet.

This is such an attractive slow cooker. I would not hesitate to leave this one on my counter top.
My current slow cooker is really pretty old –combine that with the fact that my grandson likes to use it to melt his glue for furniture repair (as a water bath for the container, NOT directly in the crockpot!) and I could really use a new one.

At times I double what I make just so that I can freeze half of it. I do that with lasagna, meat pies, roast (to use in soup later) etc. It’s nice to have a break from cooking at times.
