Method Soap and the Ocean Plastic Pledge

by Janice

Method is a brand I love – they are always supporting a good cause.

This month, method is kicking off their Ocean Plastic campaign by celebrating the launch of Method’s 2-in-1 Dish + Hand Soap, packaged in the world’s first bottle made of recovered ocean plastic.

Not only does the naturally derived, biodegradable formula in method’s odor-eliminating 2-in-1 dish + hand soap pull double duty getting your digits and dishes clean, it’s also packaged in the world’s first bottles made with a blend of recovered ocean plastic and post-consumer recycled plastic. Even cooler than that, the ocean plastic used to make these bottles was collected by method employees.

This is method’s way to help raise awareness about the issue and use their business to demonstrate smart ways of using and reusing the plastics that are already on the planet.

Ocean Plastic hand & dish soap comes in Sweet Water and Sea Minerals fragrances and will be available exclusively at Whole Foods Markets and online at methodhome.com in the U.S.

Please Note: We are working with Method in their Method Mavens ambassadorship program. But my love for Method has nothing to do with contracts — it is all mine.

If you want to share the love, we would love it if you gave it a Stumble, Tweet, Pin, or Facebook Like. Thanks so much! We really appreciate your support of 5 Minutes for Mom.
