Say It Forward – Week 25: This week’s loyal commenter is Lisa from Crazy Adventures in Parenting.

She’s an army wife, a mother of six and a writer to boot. When reading Lisa’s amusing and fun blog, you begin to wonder – is there anything this woman cannot do?

It’s hard to imagine that this organic loving, formerly from New York but now living in the South, coffee and internet addicted mother ever has a bad day.

Lisa stays busy raising her crew, while enjoying the sweet moments with her husband, Levi. Whether she’s making us nod our heads in solitary agreement over being right on a wrong sort of day, has us clutching our sides in laughter as she deals with an infant who has an excess of, uh, waste,or brings a tear to our eyes as we read about the birth of her son in the midst of her husband’s deployment, Lisa’s blog is a great read.

Lisa describes herself this way: I’m a proud Army wife, lucky enough to be married to the man of my dreams. (I know, sickening, but so very true.) I’m a happy, ‘attached’ mom to SIX children. (I made “SIX” big so that you didn’t misread it. Yes, six.)

Let me introduce you to our cast of characters, my brood, the “Crazy Eight”:

There’s me, of course (as if you didn’t see enough pregnant belly pictures of me on this blog already!) and hubby aka “Captain Awesome” We have a 13-year-old, a 9-year-old, an 8-year-old, a 4-year-old, 2-year-old and a newborn as of September 27th 2008. 3 boys, 3 girls.

Remember, it takes a special kind of crazy to raise six children in the military. And a lot of coffee.

Thank you, Lisa, for the inspiration that you are to us, your readers.

And, of course, thank you for being such a loyal commenter here at 5 Minutes for Mom! Please display this Loyal Commenter badge with pride.

If you are selected as a Loyal Commenter either by our site or another blog, you can display this Loyal Commenter badge with pride. Also feel free to give the badge to the commenters that you select each week.

How cool! Congrats, Lisa. I’m a military wife as well, except I don’t have 6 kids, I just have a dog. :) And that’s hard enough to keep up with! Hats off to you! :)
