October marks a very special campaign for eco-conscious Method, a brand I happen to love.
To support breast cancer awareness and research, Method is hosting a charitable challenge on Facebook in addition to launching the two limited edition hand washes in grocery stores across the U.S. and Canada.
Method believes in design as a force for good. It’s why they make products that are safe for people and the planet. It’s also why they’re using this season’s limited edition DESIGNED FOR GOOD hand washes to help promote breast cancer awareness and donating $10,000 to breast cancer research. Join us by “pinking your sink.”
Launching October 1, Method is asking its fans on Facebook where it should donate $10,000 in support of breast cancer awareness and research. Fans will have the chance to submit and vote on a breast cancer affiliated non-profit organization in the U.S. and Canada for consideration.
At the end of the month, four charities will be chosen to receive a $2,500 gift. Here is the timeline for the contest:
October 1 – 7 Fan Nomination Period
October 8 – 12 Fan Voting Period
October 22 – 28 Top 10 Selections are Judged by Method
October 29 Winners Announced on Facebook
The nominators of the top 10 organizations will also receive gift basket featuring Method Pink products.
Like all Method soaps, the formula is biodegradable and naturally derived and free of any dirty ingredients, like parabens, phthalates, triclosan and EDTA, and packaged in recyclable bottles made with 100% recycled plastic (PCR).
