My son always liked to help clean when he was little. He’s almost 10 now, but today he already straightened his room, did a few dishes, took care of the dog, and cleaned his bathroom – Woo Hoo! I am trying to be a better example of a clean and organized mom for him.

My girls love to clean – if it’s their own idea. If I’m asking them to do it, they never want to, lol.

I was going to post my tackle for today, but got interrupted by a 3yo throwing up in her bed last night… Sigh. I’ll be back tackling next week though!

I have 2 teenagers and a 11 DS, so they really don’t “like” to clean. But they do know how, yesterday while I was working, my 15 DS cleaned the house, did the dishes and laundry. I was shocked!

I had Andrew tackle his room last night I too have a cleaning lady that comes every 2 weeks and Monday nights are when my kids have to tidy there room and make sure they pick every thing up! I wish Andrew was as eager as Sophia at cleaning. But as for me, I filed a VERY Large box of papers that have been accumulating for some time now. I got the second set of cupboard doors put up in my office and sorted through all the piles on my desk so that now I can actually see the surface!

I love your tackle!! I have two children. My son who is 6 would walk over a pile in his room and not even notice it. My daughter who is 3 however, LOVES to clean. She asks for wipes for the cabinets and to use the swifter, all the time! She frequently will rearrange the toys in her room. (she gets this I think from seeing my hubby and I doing this with furniture frequently!)

My tackle this week was putting the toddler bed together for my nephew who’s coming to live with us!!

Can I hire her out to come and sort out my kitchen? I’m amazed and impressed that you’ve stuck with it. It’s usually just about a week if I’m lucky around here.
