Disney Fine Art Growth Charts from Oopsy Daisy (Review and Giveaway)

Oopsy Daisy Fine Art for Kids

Do you have a growth chart at home for your kids?

I always wanted one… but something stopped me. Back when my husband and I were newly married, trying to get pregnant and house hunting, it would make me incredibly sad to see houses for sale that had someone’s penciled-in growth chart in a closet or on a wall. I would think about how the chart marked a lifetime of memories that would just ultimately be left behind.

Now it’s 5 years later, and I’ve either been too busy having and caring for my kids, or too hesitant to think about penciling their little heights on the walls, knowing we are outgrowing our house and are trying to get it on the market. The boys have a makeshift growth chart at my parent’s house and they get measured each Christmas. I love it. But it is not my own.

When I got the chance to review a removable “take with me wherever we live” personalized growth chart from the It’s a Small World Collection at Oopsy Daisy, I was thrilled.

We received the “Magic Facade” growth chart, and it arrived in such a cute box I was already excited. (*click on the photo on the right for a larger view of the growth chart)

That canvas tag hanging from the box can be re-purposed as a book mark or as a growth chart for a child’s doll house! No doll houses in my house, but we will definitely use it as a book mark with all the reading the boys are starting to do.

Oopsy daisy, Fine Art for Kids presents Disney® “It’s a Small World” Collection” – it’s not magic, you’re growing! Track your height with this kids growth chart featuring bold patterns and familiar mid-century modern imagery. Capture a moment in time – and your child’s measured milestones – with creatively designed canvas growth charts that double as a great keepsake and roll up easily for safe storage.

The growth chart can even be personalized with your child’s name for that extra special touch! The growth charts are made in the USA – right in Oopsy Daisy’s San Diego studio on the same artist’s canvas as the stretched wall art. It even came with color-coordinated decorative covers to fit over the drywall screw for a polished look. Which I like – I hate looking at screws sticking out of my walls.

The easy cleaning makes me happy too. You can wipe up any sticky fingerprints or dust with a soft, dry or damp cloth. If the chart gets wrinkled somehow, the backside can be ironed on a low setting with light steam. All it takes is a colorful permanent marker (not included) to start recording the dates on the height chart. We put it up in my oldest’s room and he was so excited to get measured.

We don’t have an official growth chart in our new home. But we should! We’ve been marking the kids height in the kitchen pantry. These charts would make AWESOME baby shower gifts.
