I was lucky. I was one of the few people I knew who graduated college with $0 in student loans. It’s not likely that the wee ones will have the same advantage. Preparing for college financially is a daunting task, but MetLife is looking to make it easier with their Snoopy Snapshot Challenge.
The winner of this Facebook contest will receive $10,000 towards their child’s education (with an additional $3,000 check to help defray taxes). There are four winners, total, one for each category:
- Baby (children 3 years of age and under)
- Little Kid (children ages 4 through 7)
- Big Kid (children ages 8 through 12)
- Teen (children ages 13 through 17)
It’s a fun entry, too. Simply go to the MetLife Facebook page. Once you’ve liked it, click on the contest tab. From there, choose your favorite Peanuts character and upload a headshot of your child onto it. After you’ve completed this step, fill out the official online entry form, and share your photo with your friends and family. The top 25 favorite photos in each category will move to the final round, and each category will have a $10,000 winner.
MetLife is focused on helping make financial planning for your child easier. In addition to this Facebook contest, MetLife also offers the Life Advice® guide, “Financial Planning for College” that includes helpful tips to navigate the process.
No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase or payment will not increase your chances of winning. This contest is void where prohibited by law.
