Minimize Scars and Stretch Marks with Avishi Organics Intensive Repair Oil (Giveaway)

by Michelle M

I am as vain as the next woman, and I’m getting more so as I get older. All the little imperfections I notice cropping up more and more each year drive me nuts. I want to erase them, and at least some of them I can with Avishi Organics Intensive Repair Oil.

Avishi-Organics-Intensive-Repair-Oil

I’m a fan first because it is toxin-free and doesn’t have all the chemicals and fillers that so many other products do. The intensive repair oil is designed to reduce the appearance of stretch marks and other scars. The product comes in a bottle with a small drop outlet, much like a Worcestershire sauce bottle. This prevents the all natural oil from escaping too quickly. Holding it upside down, a drop escapes every three or four seconds. It isn’t the easiest way to apply a product like this, but it is effective in ensuring that you don’t accidentally use too much.

Because it is herbal – made from seabuckthorn and rosehips and calendula, among other ingredients, it has a wonderful scent that isn’t cloying and dissipates fairly rapidly. To use, simply smooth the oil into the affected area in a circular motion until it is absorbed twice or more a day. It takes up to three months to see results, so I can’t attest to the efficacy of my stretch marks from my C-section reducing in appearance as yet, but I have faith considering how effectively it has acted as a moisturized for my very dry cuticles.

When I first saw that it has to be used for three months, I wondered how many bottles I would go through in three months. I’ve been using it two to three time a day since I received it in a variety of recommended manners. It works great as a facial moisturizer. Even though it is an oil, using four or five drops covers my face and doesn’t leave a greasy feel. I was able to apply my mineral makeup within minutes of moisturizing, just as I do with my usual moisturizer. I’ve also used it on my cuticles and on my legs after shaving in place of lotion – plus on my stretch marks, of course. As I continued to use it, I realized how little it takes with each application. My entire leg took eighteen drops. The Avishi Organic Intensive Repair Oil will last, fortunately.

Personally, I’m thrilled to find a product that is all natural and toxin free that I can use to reduce stretch marks and scarring. For those who are pregnant applying it, that has to be one more relief to know that there are no mineral oil fillers or other products that they may not be comfortable using. I have very sensitive skin on my face, and applying it did not bother my skin in the least. I remember how many issues I had especially when I was pregnant where products would irritate my skin, so having the intensive repair oil designed for sensitive skin – and working well with my extremely sensitive face – is yet another plus.

You can purchase Avishi Organics Intensive Repair Oil on the Avishi Organics site for $38.50 for a 100ml bottle. For a concentrated formula that lacks parabens, sulfates, petroleum, synthetic skin-irritating fragrances, artificial colors, and animal-derived ingredients, I was almost expecting a much higher pricetag, but organic and natural doesn’t have to mean overpriced, as Avishi Organics proves.

I used a stretch mark cream especially for darker skin and didn’t notice a difference. But with any system, you have to be consistent. I’d like to try one again and document my progress.

During my last pregnancy I could not have lived without the Stretch Mark Cream from Apothederm http://apothederm.com/shop-products/body/stretch-mark-cream/
It was very effective for my past stretch marks and the new marks I got. I would recommend it!
