I am always looking for something new to try in the beverage line. I mean I like my pop, or what some of you may call soda, like Dr. Pepper and Coke. But sometimes you just get so tired of the same thing. We also try to drink water but I like flavored water better.
Recently, I was introduced to a new product called Spindrift. They produce soda and flavored water. But what’s so different about Spindrift’s beverages is that they are made with natural ingredients! Each bottle (yes they come in glass bottles!) contains real, fresh lemon juice and actual pulp from fruit. No artificial sweeteners are used, just pure cane sugar.
There are so many different flavors available!
I received a full case for review. The box was so heavy I almost wasn’t able to get it inside all by myself. Inside was 24 – 12 oz bottles; 12 bottles of soda and 12 bottles of water. The soda flavors ranged from Sparkling Grapefruit, Sparkling Blackberry, Orange Mango, to Lemonade and Half and Half (which is a tea) and the waters had flavors such as Lemon, Raspberry Lime and Tangerine.
In the bottle you can see the pulp at the bottom. It’s not big pieces but it’s there. A little odd to see pulp in something called soda but after refrigerating and chilling a few of the drinks….I didn’t care what was in it.
This taste is so refreshing and unique! I had never tasted anything like it. I believe the first drink is a little bit of a shock because you are expecting something super sweet like your regular sodas. But in no way was this disappointing! After having tried quite a few of the flavors, I have to say my favorites are the Sparkling Blackberry, Sparkling Grapefruit, and the Cranberry Raspberry.
A wonderful thing about this company is not only are the providing quality, tasty beverages but they are also supporting non-profits that are working to preserve water resources, both locally and globally. On each bottle cap you can look underneath it to see which organization is benefiting from the sale. Some of the organizations are Water.org, Save the Bay, ClimateCounts.org, and many, many more.
