Is Cheating Ever Allowed?

by Jennifer Sikora

Well. . . .

It might be if you’re talking about food! In fact, I will be the first to admit that I am a serial cheater when it comes to my food. When I should be eating a nice healthy dinner, I will opt for a big fat cheeseburger and fries (not all the time, but sometimes). Instead of more veggies for dinner, I will try to sneak in some cheese sauce. I can’t help it! I’m a cheater pants!!

My daughter doesn’t let me cheat as much as I want to though. She catches me in the act and then reminds me that cheating will get me into trouble with her, so I find other ways to cheat!

I cheat on my diet.

I cheat on books that I read.

I cheat when I am cooking.

Let’s face it, we ALL cheat to some degree. Speaking of cheating, check out this video about cheating on your butter. Yep — been there a few times! Who hasn’t?

The really cool thing about I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter is that it has less saturated fat than butter, no cholesterol and contains no hydrogenated oils so there’s 0g trans fat per serving. They are also made with a blend of oils rich in Omega-3 ALA! Healthy and delicious.

So guess what? It’s totally OK to cheat on your butter!

I completely agree with food cheating. You have to live a little sometimes to maintain some normalcy and stay sane!
